GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS

UPFIT MEMBERSHIPS ARE CALCULATED ON A 48 WEEK YEAR

UpFit memberships are based on a 48 week year.  UpFit will give 2 weeks advanced notice of any closures.  UpFit may offer an alternative timetable during these 4 weeks of closure but is not at liberty to do so. 

 

 A NOTE FROM HEATHER - Most likely UpFit will close for a 2 week period over the Christmas season a possible 2 other weeks maybe taken or single days/weeks.  If appropriate an alternative timetable and classes maybe offered.  (Instructors need a holiday too :)   Your membership has been calculated on a 48 week year to allow for any possible closures.  

RETURNS AND CANCELLATIONS POLICY

The cancellation / refund policy below applies to all purchases made via the UpFit website (www.up-fit.uk) and on the UpFit App or TeamUP. By placing an order with us you agree to accept the following cancellation / refund policy. If you do not agree to the policy below then you should not make a purchase on this website or via the UpFit App or TeamUp.

ORDER CANCELLATION / REFUND POLICY

You may cancel your order for up to 1 hour after the transaction. If you cancel within this period, any payments made by you will be refunded within 30 days.  If you do not cancel within 1 hour, we will confirm your order. Once confirmed, an order is non-refundable. It may be transferable to another product within the same term at the discretion of UpFit, subject to availability and suitability, but a transfer is not guaranteed. Order cancellations must be made by email, quoting your order number to members@up-fit.uk.

CLASS CANCELLATION / ACCOUNT CREDIT RETURN POLICY

Classes can only be booked using a class credit from either a 10 Class Pass or via one of the Membership Programmes. Once a class is booked, a credit is deducted from your account. Classes may be cancelled at least 2 hours before the start of the class via website. Account credits will only be returned to your account for cancellations within policy. In the event UpFit needs to cancel a class, we will attempt to contact all clients via email who booked prior to cancellation and will return any credits to clients who booked prior to cancellation. Clients and/or members must ensure that they update their account with the correct contact information and notifications are set to ON.

TEACHER SUBSTITUTION

Teachers may be substituted for another suitably qualified teacher at the discretion of UpFit.  As we are still providing a class with the same content and quality, refunds will not be granted in the event of Teacher Substitution.

OUR COMMITMENT POLICY

UpFit commits to holding at least 4 classes per week for a minimum of 48 weeks per year. Extensions will only be granted to clients on Membership Programmes (Bronze, Silver, Gold, Gold Plus) where classes are not held for more than 2 days consecutively (does not apply to the 10 Class Pass Membership Programme). UpFit reserves the right to review and change these Terms & Conditions at any time. We will give you 7 days written notice of any changes.

LIABILITY WAIVER POLICY

The  Par-Q (Physical Activity Readiness Questionnaire) and Liability Waiver Policy must be signed/accepted by any client or member taking classes with UpFit.  UpFit reserves the right to refuse any client or member who has not signed/accepted the waiver, prior to commencing any class, course or workshop held by UpFit.  Visit www.up-fit.uk/liability-waiver to view the Liability Waiver Policy.

It is the clients responsibility to notify UpFit in writing of any changes to their health and or injury.

MEMBERSHIPS BRONZE/GOLD/GOLD PLUS

Before signing up to a monthly membership subscription with UpFit, please ensure that you have read these Terms and Conditions thoroughly. By purchasing a UpFit membership subscription, you are confirming that you have read these Terms and agree to be bound by them. These Terms constitute a membership contract between you (the Client) and us (UpFit). All memberships are non-transferrable.

CONTRACT TERM

Your membership will automatically renew monthly until cancelled.  The minimum contract term for GOLD PLUS memberships is 12 months (or as per the contract agreement). You will pay a monthly fee (as per membership programme) which will debit your account automatically every month, on the 1st day of the month.

Class Credits and passes (10 CLASS PASS & MEMBERSHIP ONLY) have an expiration date that is clearly stated on the sales receipt and/or your online account details and cannot be used after this date. Please note ‘expiration date’ is 6 months. Any unused expired credits will not be refunded. Exceptions may be made for medical reasons such as illness or injury with accompanying documentation at our discretion. Management reserve the right to refuse to grant credit extensions.

Please note class package credits cannot be transferred, frozen or extended.

MEMBERSHIP FEES

UpFit reserves the right to review and change membership fees. We will give you 30 days written notice of any changes. If your membership comes to and end and you start it again, your new membership fee will be charged at the prevailing rate at the time of the renewal. If you fall behind with your membership fees and this is not caused by a bank error, we reserve the right to suspend or cancel your membership.

MEMBERSHIP FREEZE (BRONZE/GOLD ONLY)

You can freeze your membership for a maximum of 1 month at a time in a 3 month period. For all freezes there will be a £5 administration fee charged on the month that the frozen membership is inactive. Just make sure we are notified of the freeze before the 15th of the month to give us time to process your request for the following month. All our freezes run from the 1st of each month for a complete month (for example, we can’t do the 12th to the 12th).

Simply email members@up-fit.uk to freeze your Membership.

Please note during the frozen period all Membership services will be inactive, members will need to email members@up-fit.uk to reinstate their membership if they wish to attend during the freeze period. 

MEMBERSHIP CLASS CREDITS

All Membership class credits must be used within each week of your contract. Class credits cannot be carried over or extended.

MEMBERSHIP CANCELLATION

You can cancel, upgrade or downgrade your membership at any time providing we have 30 days written notice. You must pay your full membership rate during your month’s notice. The contract will automatically renew after the minimum term until cancelled.

Please email us at members@up-fit.uk should you wish to terminate your membership.  Please do not cancel your payment with your bank.  We will still attempt to collect the payment, which can affect your credit score. 

If you wish to terminate your BRONZE, or GOLD membership early without notice there is a £50 administration fee. Please email us at members@up-fit.uk should you wish to terminate your membership early. (not applicable to GOLD PLUS)
