Can men attend these classes?Sorry fellas these classes are just for the ladies.

How old do I need to be to attend these classes?You need to be 18 to attend UpFit classes. UpFit members may bring along a younger participant with consent. Please contact heather@up-fit.uk

Help! I am a complete beginner.Great! Our classes are all about embracing all abilities, with a big emphasis on boosting confidence and self esteem. You can ask as many questions as you need to and take classes at your own pace. There is no pressure or judgement, so don’t be nervous – just go for it!

Do you provide the equipment?All equipment for classes is provided including Ripstiks, glowsticks, Powerhoops and mats. If you wish to bring your own mat you are welcome to do so. Additional equipment such as Piloxing Gloves can be purchased from UpFit but are not required. Alternative weights and weight gloves will not be allowed in class. Yoga/Piloxing socks maybe be used for any classes in which barefoot training is an option. (Barefoot training is beneficial in our Pilates based classes such as Piloxing and Pound.) Normal socks without grip will not be allowed and the alternative is trainers.

Do I need to bring anything with me?We recommend you bring a face towel, a bottle of water and a jumper/pullover for after your class.

What should I wear?Normal gym clothing is fine. We recommend leggings as baggy clothing can get in the way. A good sports bra is heavily recommended. For Bootcamp, Powerhoop and Clubbercise classes a good pair of sports trainers is essential. For our Piloxing and Pound classes we recommend that you train barefooted due to the Pilates elements in these classes. Any yoga socks (sticky soles) can be worn, normal socks will not be permitted. You may also wear trainers.

What happens if I need to cancel a class?You are able to cancel a class booking a minimum of 2 hours before class starts, by doing so your credit will be returned to you automatically. If you cancel a class within the 2 hour period before the class commencement then your class credit will be forfeited. Refer to www.up-fit.uk/terms-and-conditions for full information.

What happens if a class is cancelled?In the event UpFit needs to cancel a class, we will attempt to contact all clients who booked prior to cancellation and will return any credits. We aim to give all clients as much notice as possible. Clients will be notified by email.
